Mitsubishi TD04 & TE04H Standard Rebuild Kit


This is a standard rebuild kit for Mitsubishi TD04 and TE04H turbochargers. TD04 turbos were used on 1G DSM Eclipse, Talons, Lasers (automatic transmissions only) as well as Mitsubishi 3000GT/ Dodge Stealths, along with many other vehicles. TE04H turbos were used on Chrysler 2.2/2.5L Turbo I vehicles from '88-'93. These turbos are also used on Volvos, Subaru WRX's, Dodge Neon SRT-4/PT Crusier, and many more. Rebuild instructions are available upon request after a purchase has been made.

Mitsubishi TD04 and TE04H Complete Rebuild Kit


This is a complete rebuild kit for Mits TD04 and TE04H turbochargers. This kit comes with all of the thrust parts (thrust collar, thrust ring) and also the seal plate. There are two varieties of compressor wheels used in TD04 turbos. The first one is called a flatback design (wheel on left in picture) and the second one is called a superback design (wheel on right in picture).  The difference is that the flatback compressor wheel is totally flat in the center, it is not beveled or indented, and the superback wheel is beveled, or tapered, as you can see in the picture below.

The difference in the kit components is with the thrust collar and the seal plate. The thrust collar for the flatback wheel is taller than the superback thrust collar, and the seal plate for the flatback wheel is flat whereas the superback seal plate is indented. These turbos are found on 1g DSM Eclipse/Talon/Lasers (standard transmissions), Intercooled Mitsubishi Starions & Dodge/Chrysler Conquest, Volvos, and more. We also have the hard-to-find, genuine Mitsubishi heat shield available (the part on the diagram that is in front of part #2). This is a complete rebuild kit for Mitsubishi TD05/TD05H/TD06 turbochargers. This kit will ONLY work for superback compressor wheel models such as big and small 16G, 18G, 20G, and EVO turbos. If you are converting an older style flatback compressor wheel turbo to the newer style superback (ex: 14B to 16G), you will need this kit to complete the conversion (as well as the 16G compressor wheel).
